About the Business Operations Team:
Gauge operates retail locations in every market where we buy vehicles from consumers, and this location acts as a hub for that local market. The Business Operations team at each location is responsible for:

- Signing up local dealers who’d like to purchase inventory from our auction
- Working with those dealers to make sure they are successful on the platform
- Outbound calls/texts to consumers who are currently selling a vehicle
- Assisting consumers through the process of selling their vehicle, which includes educating them on what their options are, helping them complete their vehicle condition report, and making recommendations based on their situation
- Verifying condition reports in-person, completing vehicle paperwork, paying consumer sellers for their vehicle, and transporting the vehicle to the purchasing dealership.
- Acting as a highly autonomous team to manage the operations and logistics of the local market

About the Role:
As the Business Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading your team and managing the operations of your location. Detailed responsibilities include:

- Recruiting and hiring new members to add to your team
- Managing a high performing team to meet or exceed the expectations for your location
- Coaching each sub-team and Team Leads to our sales process
- Ensuring compliance with state requirements
- Leading by example and working alongside your team in their roles
- Strong process-adherence orientationComfortable giving and receiving frequent feedback
